   CLASS ROOM

The College has well equipped class rooms with modern teaching aids like over head projectors, blackboards, whiteboards etc. for day to day teaching. Training is imparted with the help of various media to maximize knowledge assimilation & at the same time to make learning easy and interactive to the student.

  LIBRARY

The college library is enriched with about 4000 books, standard journals, magazines, periodicals, educational CDs' and video cassettes. A sophisticated library management software is used for the routine functioning of the library. The student have access to the library throughout the working hours on all working days. We have subscribed to 20 magazines & news papers for the benefit of students.

  CODE OF CONDUCT
  1. Take - home facility is available against library card.

  2. Reference books are available against identity card in the reading hall.

  3. Mishandling of books and periodicals is punishable.

  4. Students will be entertained for issue/receipt of books only on days identified for their class.

  5. If a book is lost, it must be replaced or the full repurchase price of the book should be paid

  CONFERENCE HALL

The Institute houses a conference hall equipped with OHP, LCD Projectors & Slide projectors. etc., where we organize guest lectures, panel discussions, group discussions, works shops, personality development programmes, talks, seminars etc. This helps the students to gain first hand knowledge and exposure to the professional society which assists them to polish and enhance their personalities.

Our College has a computer lab with over 20 Pentium -III & Pentium - IV Computers.

  BOOK BANK


This facility is available to SC/ST and economically weak students to specially assist them in their studies.
 

  SCHOLARSHIP


Scholarships are awarded to SC/ST/OBC students as per the Government rules Meritorious students will also get scholarship as per the management's prevailing rules.

  RAILWAY CONCESSION

The students whose father / husband / guardians are residing out of Jabalpur can avail of Railway concession for their home town visits during University holidays as per Railway norms.

  NOTICE BOARDS
  • Students should take great care to look up the Notice Board regularly.
  • No excuse will be considered if notices on the Board are ignored

  • The College Calendar dealing with all the activities is displayed on the notice board.
  CULTURAL ACTIVITIES


The Narmada Mahila Mahadvidyalaya Cultural Society organizes a kaleidoscope of competitions to shape and enrich the personality of the students. These activities serve as a platform to provide proper opportunities to help students to recognize and develop their potentials. The students are expected to earn name and fame for themselves, the college, university and city of Jabalpur by winning competitions at the regional and national levels.

  SPORTS

The Sports Society of College conducts multiple sports activities with the strong belief that "Healthy mind needs a healthy body". The Sports officer trains them for inter college state and national level sports competitions.

  SUGGESTION BOX

If students have any suggestion/ complaint regarding the functioning of the college, the academic or extra curricular activities, they may put it in the suggestion box without mentioning their name or inform the concerned staff member in confidence.

  GUEST LECTURES

Frequent guest lectures are organized in the college to link the students to various other Universities which further broadens their horizon of knowledge.

  COUNSELLING CELL
The College offers counseling for students. Students have regular job career/ Medical counseling facilities in our College which are made available in the campus.
  STUDENTS COUNCIL

Formation of the Students union is one the most important events of every academic session. The principal, in the capacity of chair person with the help of the college staff in accordance with the directives and election schedule issued- by University, ensure free and fair election. The office bearers are elected during the two day election process for various societies namely Cultural, Debate, Library, NSS, NCC, Sports etc.
The students elect the candidate of their choice out of the capable and deserving candidates.

  CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Co-curricular activities are designed to shape and enrich the personality of the students. The activities are reviewed and updated to provide proper opportunities to help each student to recognize and develop his/her potential, talent and capacity.

  CAREER COUNSELING CELL

The counseling cell has been established with a purpose to guide and assist the students in finding out their gray areas and strong personality attributes, their interests and their potential so that they make the correct career choices and control the problem areas by developing confidence in themselves.

  PLACEMENT CELL


Campus interviews are organized in order to cope up with the growing unemployment in the society. Placements are facilitated through the combined efforts of students, faculties and professionals. Our placement center assists all the eligible candidates to find a place in industrial units, if they meet the standards fixed by the placement committee.

  INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE


Summer training programmers, project assignments and seminars by experts from industries and leading practitioners and industrial visits expose the students to the real, technical and personnel problems in organizations. Apart from summer projects, students have to do mini project practical assignment on selected topics as for as their syllabi demands. Students are thereby enabled to learn prevailing methods and practices in organizations and relate them to the knowledge gained in the classroom and through reading books.
